Nathan and Courtney came in from Madison for a visit Monday night! Nathan is a fan of this guy that was playing Monday night, so we all went to see him. It was a neat and intimate place to see music and I think we'll go back soon!

Storm on monday

I'm not sure this video is a great representation, but there was a pretty decent storm yesterday with lots of rain, thunder, and lightning. It seemed pretty dramatic to me! It helped temperatures a bit, but mostly it just made it really humid.

I've been sick the last few days so I've been home bound, but today Kyle and I did a couple of errands. The prius c is still super awesome! Everything works like it should. I can play music through an app in my phone and it automatically starts when I start the car! Anyway I thought the car looked extra little next to the giant expedition.

Alec and Hadar joined us at our apartment pool/grill for a tasty BBQ dinner to celebrate the 4th. We had salmon, fries, corn, and caprese salad. Yum!

2nd airport trip!

Yay new car!!!

Drew and Shea drove our new Prius c to Austin from Madison!! They arrived late Monday night. Tuesday we  went out to Torchy's for breakfast tacos and then went to drop them off at the airport.

After dropping them off, we got a call that the flight had been delayed by a few hours, so we picked them back up! We toured around the university a little, including checking out the turtle pond, and then headed to Billy's for BBQ for lunch. After that we may a return trip to the airport. Thanks to Drew and Shea!!! The new car is pretty awesome so far!!

Back in Austin

Kyle and I are back in Austin and trying to get everything settled back in. I just set out all of the cards from the shower on Saturday. I'm definitely feeling the love! I had the best time; everything was perfect!! More on the weekend later, hopefully. Our new car is due to arrive in a few hours! Cousins Drew and Shea are driving it from Madison.

Parties!!

I have lots of anticipation for the Saturday parties! Mom and Elroy have nicely decorated the back porch for the shower and the lights are so fun at night too!
