Views from my hotel room in New Orleans

I spent last week in New Orleans for a conference about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I had a wonderful time, and I learned a lot, and I am trying to catch up on this blog now! It was my first time to New Orleans so I tried lots of new things while there.

The conference was at the Marriott, which was also where I stayed. I had a really nice view up on the 33rd floor, but it was right next to the elevators which was noisy. A friend of my roommate stayed with me for part of my time there, too. New Orleans is a beautiful city!
